    Just spent $200 dollars on her. New timing belt, water pump, anitfreeze, oil, oil filter, and $17.16 in gas! Saturday is gonna be a long day of mechanic work!

    pro comp 2.5" leveling kit wheelers 5 pack bilstein 5100's all around goodyear duratrac 265/75/17 method race wheels removed side steps and mud flaps Black grill surround and black bumpers. Red toyota logo in grill Restored headlights 20% tint all around 6k hids. just low beams. will be doing high beams soon
    just finished debadging the truck. the paint is a tiny bit faded compared to the rest of the truck and there are 2 or 3 small scratches. does anyone have any suggestions for making the paint look less faded like a wax. and same for the scratches
    ideas?

    Ordered new trail gear chromoly rear axle and giving a parts list together for the rest of what i need. then its time to tear her apart!

    and where exactly would you get a clay bar?? like an advanced auto or home depot type of thing?

    wallmart has them get a known brand though not the smiley special crap brand

    I know Mothers makes clay bar kits. A waste of $20 if you dont have a nice paint. I mean it works, just not on weathered paint

    Today I changed fluids. Front & rear diffs, transfer case, transmission, power steering, oil.
    Also did the rear diff breather mod.

    Yesterday I changed an inner CV boot and did the boot mod on both sides, and installed Moog lower ball joints and Moog greasable sway bay links.

    They all come as one piece. You have to beat the ball joint and tie-rod out and then there is 4 bolts. Pretty easy job, expecially if you have a balljoint fork or a puller. No pressing necessary.

    The only thing about the bar/bfh is a buddy to help is required. One person to put pressure on the tie rod or ball joint with the bar, whichever is being stubborn, and one person to crack it with the BFH.

    On my truck the right side tie rod end was easily disconnected with a tap of a hammer and the balljoint was tight as hell. The left was the opposite, the balljoint almost fell out by itself and the tie rod end was the pain.
