I need some more weight up front and to actually flex it out more to make them softer! Just recently took off my sway bar after wheeling all summer! I'm dumb lol

    No

Need less back spacing. You'll rub the UCA with 295s

Correct, disregard my comment, I was only looking at rim width.

Good to know. Still have awhile before these tires I have wear out but guess when they do, I'll go for a 3.5 back spacing wheel. Currently running LR UCAs. Maybe when the tires finally wear I'll have enough to overhaul my whole suspension.

Yeah what Monte said. I'm 285's with 4.5 and I am literally less than 1/2" away from my uca just sitting on level ground! I'm about to get new wheels because i rub more than I want!

13 inch shock. They did rub, but I could probably modify the mounts and probably have very little to no rubbing.

I have used those steam cleaners before, and they work, but not as well as a good degreaser spray like purple power or the like. You might feed more change to the machine than it would cost for a bottle.

You have to understand CA has certain specifications on certain intake systems. So it might different than what other states might ask for, or allow for a vehicle to pass smog. I just got the intake system to increase mpg.

Quick stupid question to those of you who go through a lot of mud and water, how often do you take water on into the cab? Are the door seals enough to keep it out and do people go in water that deep often? And how do you keep water out of the bell housing especially with a clutch, considering the inspection plate is not sealed. I do take my truck wheeling a bit but I do mild mud and water and mostly just keep to trails and some technical stuff because my truck has no upgrades at all. But sometimes I get concerned that I'm taking some water around the clutch area even in not very deep holes

I've read that the dakars are designed to go negative more then other leaf packs. The are more of a neutral pack so the oscillate between negative and positive arch. But ya doing that probably just wears them out faster.

As someone who unfortunately learned this lesson recently, generally you can go deeper than your door seals and not get water in. As long as you keep moving water doesn't have time to come in. But if you are going through a long enough stretch (like more than a minute in the water) or get stuck, you will take on water. I've gone 6" or more above my doorsills and haven't taken on water until I got stuck this summer.

I've had water over my hood a few times and have never had water in the cab. I also don't have the inspection plate on my bell housing and water doesn't effect anything.
