 The main reason I like the skid row IFS skid over bud built or rat is they take advantage of that OEM skid mid mount that goes up to the front cross-member. Only downside to skid row is that the etched logo creates a kind of weak spot if you slam front first into a rock really hard.(ask me how I know) But you can beef that up by plating the back side.

My thoughts exactly! Not sure if you posted the picture or someone else, but I did see a pic of the front pretty dented. I like that I bolts to the mid crossmember also. Seen a pic of a budbuilt that bolts to the steering rack and it caused some damage when it was hit hard.

Yup me. I was going full retard on a trail. Bent the skid, the crossmember that supports the skid and the crush cans that hold the crossmember. Rebuilding the crossmember to be more beefy and to support the bumper I'm picking up this weekend. :spy::yay:

An addicted offroad tube bumper from another member here. I'm really stoked. :woot:

*EDIT* Just realized I posted a fuck ton in here and probably am de-railing the thread, but yeah any questions check out my build in my sig. I'm sure I will update it soon with the bumper.

Where should I buy rotopax from and how could I attach them to my rack?

Wouldn't recomend that. Be a pita to get too. You want your water to be extremely easy to get too as you'll use it a lot. Gas isn't quiet as important though but keep in mind how it'll afrect how you pack. And if you need it you'll probably have to unpack most of the truck to get them..

Also I'm not a fan of the rotopax. Long and awkward to use. The scepter style is much better

replace my driver side window regulator and motor assembly. The power window was out and now it is working like a champ! Second picture is the old assembly, my 2000 prerunner has 210,000 miles so I guess these parts start to wear out. So glad to have found this forum to help my old girl keep working!

I liked my rotopax, they worked very nicely with their mounting setup. Keyword there is 'liked' though. Mine got donated to a trail after the main rotopax bolt breaking. I'll never buy them again.

Closeup of the modified Toytec. I added a hole so I could take another inch off the shackle length (1/2" off the lift I think).
