When I was driving a box truck I had one retread fail in 15 years. I suspect because I drove it for a solid week with 0psi in it (hole in the sidewall). We did notice a marked reduction in tread life from the retreads versus new, but no other performance issues.

retreads get such a bad rep. with technology these days they are pretty nice.
treadwright.com has some nice truck tires.

Got all my stuff to install my willson superflex antenna. I just need to make up a bracket to mount it, then figure out how to attach it to the bed. Still not sure if I want it by the cab or out by the tailgate.

I got a folding mount BTW.

Yeah I think Im gonna do it by the cab, easier cable routing and I think it will look better since I don't have a shell.

That would be cool, Im going to take a look at it tomorrow. My truck has a drop in bed liner in it right now so I can't really see up under the rail.

Ill probably end up cutting a hole in the liner for the bracket to come through.

    Cool, look forward to it.

Ever thought about ditching the liner and getting a rubber bed mat? Or do you like the liner?

x2 I've heard nothing but good things about them. And cheap too. I'm thinking of picking up some KM2 "copies" of them this summer to use as a mudder tire.

Got my new bed boxes in the mail today! 12"x12"x48." Going to put them in the bed length wise with, hopefully, enough room to fit my dirtbike between them.

And Corvallis is indeed a little soggy.

Why are you looking for storage? You had a perfectly good toolbox before I stole it from you :D

When I bob the bed, gotta move the tire carrier up, not much room for a standard toolbox.

    Sportsmen's Wharehouse for $110ish per.

The plan is to have them length wise in the bed with enough space between them for my dirtbike.

Yea, classes at OSU just got cancelled tomorrow because of the weather. I'll never fail to be impressed with the Willamette Valley's inability to cope with any sort of weather.
