    Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
    I would not recommend doing this without loosening the LCA cams. But this also depends on what coils you're installing.

    First time I did it without loosening the cams. Decompressed the coil with the jack, then removed the jack, but there was still tension on the coil as the LCA would not drop further. Avoid a potentially dangerous situation and loosen the cams, you'll need an alignment anyways.

    I've never had to remove the ones that hold the skids together to remove the whole unit.

    The other 2 bolts hold the trans skid to the ifs skid.. shouldn't have anything to do with removing the front skid.


    I'm about to go out there with a hacksaw a blowtorch and a beer, hopefully one of those helps me get the job done.


    Gimme a minute, I'll do my best with a crappy 1.3megadixel phone cam.

    If you look just to the left of the edge of the skid you will see the vertical piece of the skid that appears to be stuck against the frame...

    That's the CB I will run too...eventually lol! But how does your two foot work?! I was thinking of the Wilson flex! But 4ft is just too tall to have on the truck all the time especially by the windshield! I was thinking a 3 foot firestik with a spring or can you change my mind lol!

    Don't try to talk on it without tuning it. If you can't do it yourself, a local CB shop can get it done in less than 5 minutes. It is essential so that you don't mess up the radio.

    They're cheap. I got mine from my local Fry's, definitely worth having. I have tuned 3 local members' radios. Guess I'm the only one who knows how to do it in my area. Haha
