My truck makes a squealing sound too! Could it be my alternator belt? It sounds like it? It only makes the noise when I turn the truck on and eventually it goes away?

I like the design of the rack Monte.
You think the two supports for the light rack will be enough?

Hoping by Moab(may) but idk if ill have to to do it all. We shall see..Think ill have to sell the supra so i can afford the metal and a RTT as thats what i really want it for. RTT will go on the back half and then i have an 18x42ishx8 army container that'll go on the front half inbetween those two supports that go to the top. Then ill get some elastic netting to hold dowm more gear on top of the the ammo container and the roof rack.

I do actually, with the angle and how long they are it shouldn't be a problem, plus, the supports coming off the top to the front of the rack are offset triangles which should help too. All in all, im just gonna get some water tight plastic containers to go up there really and fab up a small metal box for the HID ballasts..not much will live up there really, more of a light bar then a rack hahaha so i only need it to hold like 50-70lbs max.

See Mac, its a bit hard to tell..but the side part of the roof rack triangles are at different angles..

also wanting to make the secondary rack that goes over the bed removable.

Ahh i see now. Yea if I had one I would only mount the lights/ballasts up there. Maybe a shovel if i needed the room. I wish allpro would just make theirs with the light rack too.

    Check out my build
I did that to my old Ranger. Loved it because when it got dirty I would just pop out a rubber floor plug and hose it down. I will do the same to my Tacoma when the carpet gets bad. The only concern I had was noise, but the bed armour surprisingly kills a lot of sound.

    Hell no

Google sketch up man, check it out, its free! I do rough designs on it then i use Autocad inventor to make full renders

    :spy:

    :D

Well i will use it to hold some stuff, other wise i think it would be pointless. Maybe tools..or idk yet really..think of getting some SKB cases or Pelicans like this

    http://www.skbcases.com/industrial/products/prod-detail.php?d=f1&id=653&s=l

just gotta find some that'll fit good, and for that i have to wait till i really build it

most likely two of these tho will fit good i think

You know, the more you manage to mod your own rig with high quality shit like this, the more I'm gonna hassle you to come down to Colorado and help me with a measly front end grille swap
