What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I think it wanted to stay on the road more it was having fun

 

DAM, HAD TO REPLACE THE SUPERCHARGER BELT AT 496,621 MILES BECAUSE IT BROKE, ANYONE ONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM AT 500,000 MILES!!! ))

 

Question? Can you still run engine without SC belt? I honestly have no experience with them.

 

A convenient option, I've had this setup for a while and have been happy with the versatility. I plan to switch it up with a bed rack and RTT in the next year or so mostly for a better camping experience and quicker setup.

 

What gems did you fellas pick up?

I think it holds the axle shaft in the hub.

 

Gottcha, i googled it and it looks like it was from well before my toyota days.

I love the look of the camper cover and roof rack , cause I wanna be able to throw the kayaks up there and go wherever

sold the factory bed liner out of the bed. Hope I don't regret it. Spray in liner on the way along with some L track.

 

Im surprised you could sell it. I had mine cut up will a skill saw and deposited into the recycle bin 2 days after I bought the truck.

 

wouldn't think so as its a restriction in the intake if its not running, also if your using other fuel management system it would be off as well..

 

mine has a washer and the bolt. keeps the axle in the correct place within the hub

Yep, craigslist. Listed it and left it in truck. got alot of calls but no one came through. I finally decided screw it i'll keep it and took listing down a month ago. Guy calls me yesterday to ask if i still had it, told him yes and he came over unbolted it from bed and laid it in his Tacoma,
Glad to have something for it and not cut it, it was a nice liner.

Mine has idled perfectly its entire life, lest 10 years ago when the TPS needed replacement.

I just fine it incredibly coincidental that as soon as I hit pretty bad washboard for a few miles, it starts to high idle. And after a few start/stops and about 100 miles, it's still idling around 1100.
