Im fairly inclined but don't have a level work area/2nd pair of hands for brake bleeding.
I'd feel safer/more confident with a shop or someone who has done it before.

 

Word these were blems too, plus cash in person since Vin is pretty close to me! It's pretty crazy what is considered a "blem" it is still hard to even see the messed up parts haha.

Replaced my blower motor with one I found in a junkard. Put a little sound deadening in the driver door since it was apart. Off to the junkyard again tomorrow for some more things.

 

I have no experience with those in particular but I've liked my KM2's and KO2s

I did some test fitting with the cams I got out of a 92 Camry today. The cams do fit in the heads as for being able to time it I don't know yet, chances are I'll have to use a Camry timing belt and gears but that all looks like it should bolt up. but now for something I haven't been able to find for years, a picture of Camry cams in a Tacoma 3.4l cylinder head

 

whats the gain of going with camry cams? i remember reading up on them but it was a while ago.

 

the gain is the higher power band. Its not something id do to the truck, it suits a car better. Basically they will make power to around 7000 rpm with a very flat torque curve from 2k on, if it works as well as in the 3.0, which it should. Now to push those rpms you will need a camry forged crank, the 5vz cast crank will not handle those revs, but once again, it doesn't really suit a trucks powerband, I plan on putting my old engine in a mr2 though so, it fits that perfect.


it would also require a standalone ecu to run, the factory ecu likely wouldn't run it or just run like shit.

 

Anyone thinking about buyin Eagle Led for any reason. Just so you know, they eventually go bronze.
