@lotuscupcar I'd just do some research and ask questions, to me it's not worth it to pay a shit ton more money when it isn't hard to do yourself, plus if things go wrong down the road you'll be more familiar with parts. But that's just my opinion

By the way. "Retrofits" and "projectors" refer to the same thing. They involve putting all new lens/shroud/ballast/controller/igniters/bulbs/etc into your OEM headlights for an HID system. The D2 Mini is the easiest and cleanest and best looking retrofit build.

There are also people on TW selling "bulb only" HID upgrades which I don't recommend. You will get a lot of crap from most people on here for even considering them.

Thank you kindly @alphabravo and @BYJOSHCOOK

I don't know much about lights, as all of my other cars have the factory HID/LED/Xenon. I would like light output like the TSX Wagon or the WRX Limited. Our 01 Prerunner has candles for lights.

I will do the reading as you guys suggested, and then come back with questions if I have any. I am handy mechanically, but wiring isn't my strong suit.

I was the same way, but that write-up helped tons! Not to mention there are a ton of other write-ups you could google but be sure to do the research ahead of time ha

The electrical part is 100% plug and play for D2s. The part that takes a bit of courage is putting your new OEM headlights in the oven for 7 minutes in order to pull the lens off :D

Last time I did headlight baking was when I had a 1995 Toyota Supra Turbo, with yellow headlights. Talk about nerve wracking!

THIS...... ^^^^^^^^ I'm telling you projectors won't do much for you.

And that picture is with your fogs too. There is absolutely no cut on that beam.

Aren't your projectors those spyder brand ones. They aren't as good as a real set of morimotos. The light output on morimotos is downright impressive alone.

Pics..? I just want to see how it looks before I were to drill. I would actually love to mount some 100w KC slimlights.

Ok, I'm gonna do it again.

How many people have actually changed where they mount their shocks. I really don't feel like I 100% need to spend another 120$ Or so On shock mounts, and they have someone weld in a new cross member dude thing. Maybe for someone who goes and crawls up mounts and stuff. But I don't see it as a necessity for those of us who daily drive it and tend to end up on rougher roads...

Would it really be Sooo pointless to put a set of King 2.0s on stock mounts, with new leaf springs, that will be cycled through to see what specific shock would work the best for me?

I want to do this right, but don't want to go over kill either.

To put it simply, it would be a waste to spend the cash for kings and put them in the stock location. If your not ready to put in a cross member and shock tabs don't worry just get a set of cheaper rear shocks. Then when you are ready you can relocate and put kings in and you're probably only out about 125 for cheapo shocks.
