No elocker came with them though I'm pretty sure. So that guy is screwed.

    Other then a few 4runners I think..still stupid rare.

Funny as I think there are 3-4 front diff FS on here that are 4.30s

Wasn't there a very limited run of 4 cylinder trd's? I'd imagine they would have come with 4.30s. Probably impossible to find if they did though

    Stuff. Also things.
Love my 5.29s, 35s and MT. Great crawl speed on the dirt, and not all that bad on the highway.

Really? What about tall skinnies, 4.10s, and a slush box. :luvya:

No. This will be the only set of tall skinnies i ever run. I much rather prefer NOT to feel the washboards on the dirt roads when aired down.

OK, then I'll reword what you meant by saying 'I wouldn't have it any other way'

"I would prefer to not have it any other way besides 35s, MT, and 5.29s, but Frank is a huge pile and generally broken, therefore, most of the time, I will in fact have it some other way in the form of tall skinnies, 4.10s and slush box."

Automatic 3rd gen 4runner's with an elocker are all 4.30's. Only elocker manual trans 3rd gen 4runner's come with 4.10, so the 4.30's are actually pretty common, just not with Tacomas. I had 4.30's with my 4runner and felt I needed 4.88's with my 285's.

Oh. Well sure. Not until i fix the blower. Only reason it leaked oil was the dipstick.

I didn't take it to Utah because i can't afford a $2300 front diff and all the maintenance needed on Igor. Wasn't going to run Hole in the Rock in 2wd...

    DD won out.

    Called budgeting.

Frank isn't going anywhere. I would have MUCH rather had him in Utah. So much nicer to drive in the the dirt.

I heard a good clunk tonight getting into my driveway. It happened when I went up the curb at an angle while turning left. I've heard it before but not for a while and I can't seem to make it happen when I want to. My balljoints (OEM from camelback) only have a few thousand miles, rackdoctor steering rack, uniball uca's. Everything is tight, drives great and I only hear this when going into the driveway. Should I worry about it?

Kings, ext travel probably less than 4k miles on them.

Edit: It has happened before I had the kings. Definitely not them. Maybe steering rack? It has always seemed a little funky.
