What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Both have there advantages. For a DD I think the softopper makes more sense. I can fold my softopper down against the cab in 2 minutes or completely remove it in less than 5. Also storing the softtopper is a lot easier that storing a hard top. Prying eyes are going to get into a softopper or hardtop if they see something they what so the security is subjective.

 

Yah but I plan on riding dirt bikes more and it already gets in my way with how i use my truck now. I only got the hard top cuz I got it for a sell and I'm more than doubling my money on it.

Yeah I suppose each one has its pros and cons. Seeing as he said he hauls dirt bikes in the bed, the softopper makes more sense. I understand nothing in a vehicle is truly safe, I just like the security of having something a little more robust for someone to get through. Then again repairs on a broken/busted up hard top that someone got into may be more expensive...ah owell either choice you can't go wrong

 

Hell i was looking at the smit one on egay for like 19.99 shipped and it looks identacle... Keep us posted on how you like it though

 

Anybody know if the all pro packs come with bushings? Or do I need to order some bushings too?

 

Just looked on their site and it says they come with new poly bushings.

You missed my prior post about the downeys...drivers side went from 4" of lift down to almost lower than the height of my aal, over like an hour of normal driving. Downey leafs=fail. The guy was real cool who sold them though, and bought them back from. So now I'm at square 1 again, it's between haddix's alcan 9 pack or new all pro's...or 63" chevy swap

 

Went to the 4x4 swapmeet last weekend at the fairgrounds. Its an annual thing, always great selections done by the homeboy entrepreneur and always fun. You always see something interesting at this swapmeet.

I did the Chevy swap on my reg cab back in the day and dayum did it flex! If you wheel at all I'd highly recommend it

 

Wow I didn't realize there would be so much talk about what i said lol.
I already have it sold and the guy is picking it up in 30mins he drove 3 hours to get it and I got an extra 50 to hold it.
I also sold my snugtop bed cover and delta tool box today.
I should say I made more than double the money I paid for each thing to.

I want/need soming easily removible like a tonneau cover but more space like a hard shell. Plus I'm soon ganna be single and don't want to mess with the canopy cuz I can't get that off alone.
