for those of you who have done the EP-35 signal flasher mod.

I just wired up two front LED turn signals. the rears are stock.

I had the hyper flash pre EP-35
I put the EP-35 in and the hyper flash continued but at a different pitch (sound).

    Any ideas?

The stock unit is made by Novita and so is the one you can buy from Autozone... But yeah it flashes at about 92-95 flashes per minute whereas the stock was about 80-85 flashes per minute. I don't mind it any more...

Think I misunderstood actually..... You may actually have a bulb out of it is still hyper flashing. It still does that if something is actually wrong. Possible you got a bad flasher too

My money is on bad flasher then.... My front turn signals are just three tiny leds and I have the stock rear bulb. No problems with the EP-35

I put on the skid plate I built from the deck of an old bush hog. I paid $50 for a 4x5' piece. I primed & painted it with Rust-Oleum.IMG_20170129_153420928.jpg IMG_20170129_153400392.jpg

This weekend ol' blue got a new radiator, inner and outer tie rod links, lbjs, tail light housings and some more hammer time. No more rubbing finally. Then my check engine light came on, on the way to the alignment shop:facepalm:

    LOL, it's always something.

This weekend I flushed my power steering system. I'd been getting that buzzing noise from the power steering pump on cold startups. Pulled the reservoir off, flushed it all out with brake cleaner, put it back on, then had my sons sit in the cab and cycle the steering wheel back and forth while the return hose flushed into a drain pan and I topped up the reservoir with ATF fluid. Started it up this morning, no buzzing. Mission accomplished.

Very rough start on my front bumper. I'm using 2x1 rectangle that is 3mm thick which is the same size as my bed cage which is round 1.75 dom tube. There will be a lot more bracing. I'm also going to plate a good amount of it for added strength as I know the rectangular tube is not as strong as the round. Seems everyone has round so wanted to do something different. What do you guys think? Am I just wasting my time or do you think with enough plate and bracing I can create a unique, strong, cool bumper?

Finally got time on changing out my transmission pan fluid. But I wanna play it safe before I do a tranny flush and see if the picture below shows to much metallic shavings that should worry me. The transmission fluid isn't burnt.
