    got started today on my suspension lift with my good friend aleks.

    the day started out pretty good getting the rear 2" AAL and new shocks installed

    I went out to test the flex on a big mound of dirt...and little did I know it was a muddy slop pit. I succeded in almost getting sttuck in this thick muddy shit hole and getting thick mud everywhere. its hard to tell from the pic but it looked ridiculous with a massive amount of rake.

    then later that evening we set to work on the front to get the 5100s in,

    and it just went down hill from there.

    by 1:30 we called it quits with 3/4 of a strut done. we'll be finishing it tomorrow.

    Got my gears in the mail yesterday!!! :woot: Only thing is that there weren't solid pinion spacers in there so I still can't re-gear yet! :(

    Put those D6XL's up for sale. Someone will pick them up for sure. Pretty interesting to see the differences between a regular cab and the other models and the effects of load capacity from the Dakars. The AAL was absolutely essential for my truck, but looks like they just aren't required for regular cabs.

    It's been a couple days already but I took my swaybar off. Definitely more body roll in corners, but I'm getting used to it. Overall it doesn't feel too bad. Gonna give it another week or so before I decide whether or not to leave it off.

    finally ran my CB wire through the drain plug hole.. because i was told its better about 5 times:rolleyes: so i did it.

    Also painting my toolbox black.. not sure if im liking it, most likely going to get bed liner.

    ^^Make sure you put a rubber grommet in there to prevent chafing of the cable.

    iv got to pick some up from advanced. if i left it like that with my luck id have mice, bees, and whatever else animal that can fit in there would nest in my truck.

    man if you think that pollens bad you should have seen my truck after parking under a huge cherry blossom tree at school for a week! my trucks silver and the hood and top were just yellow

    mine has been under a pear tree for two weeks and hasnt moved. (lost my license) ill get a better picture of my truck it looks like i painted the hood yellow.
