Blown, long travel honda lawn mower

 

Chased down a burnt bulb in my speedo.... And added a paranoid switch plate. With no switches..lol. I will gather them slowly. Looks sick tho...itching to go to the local offroad park tomorrow. But i doubt my doctor would like that..lol

 

I still only have 1 switch in my panel... but I have a whole bunch of OTRATTW switches I've been too lazy to wire up

 

sounds like you just have a surplus of parts in your garage...

I do hoard parts for sure haha. At least the Icons finally made it from the shelf to the truck. Next project is getting some UCAs and figuring out my rear shock geometry. Still have LCA bushings sitting on the shelf, an antenna bracket that I need to wire in. Another CB to put in, switches, and RTMR, not to mention the actual rear shocks to rebuild. I don't know why I buy things, I have plenty of stuff to put in but when the deal walks by I pull out the TW card...

 

Ima wait till i get all of the. Before wiring them all up

Mine's pretty much consistent when the accelerator is pushed. Wet/dry, neutral/in gear, still/moving....if the gas is pushed the whine is there.

Sorry, no pictures, we all know what a nice un rusted frame looks like. At lease one point in our Tacoma ownership's lives.

Used POR 15 on my frame and anything else with rust showing on the underside. Used 4 pints of here and there treatment. Feel much better about my frame, it is still really solid. I heard how tough this stuff is getting it off of anything once dry and I thought I had myself covered from head to toe. Somehow it got under my long sleeves and now my wrists are tattooed with POR 15! Let me reiterate to anyone who has never experienced this stuff on your skin, it does not come off once dry. Maybe I'll report back in a month to see if at naturally wears off. One thing for certain knowing how well it adheres to everything, I am glad I took the time to put it on the rust spots.

Going forward now I will routinely spray everything down with Fluid Film.

A piece of road debris I ran over doing about 70. It put a dent in the shield, then wrapped up between the bed rail and the tank in that 2 inch gap and did its damage. After the strikes I looked behind and saw something thin and long, 2 - 3 feet long.

Involuntary vacation day. 250 for the used tank (which looked immaculate inside) and another 245 for 3 hours labor.

FYI:
Local Toyota dealer quoted 760 for tank.
Toyota parts direct was 509, but another 245 shipping (ludicrous).
Rock Auto has tank/tank & filter for 215/335 or so but only 25 for shipping.
2 local sources for used tank were 250 and 350, but the 250 guy was asking all the right questions, unlike the 350 guy.
