shutup, get off the computer, and go buy that right now. Great price and miles.

If its rust free that is and well maintained. It already got a new frame so should have a ton of new parts.

You could see as high as 400k out of it if you take care of it. the frame might rust away before that though where you are.

    Killer find.

Thanks dude. The truck appears to be fully stock. What are the most popular mods done immediately? I am thinking an aftermarket front grill to get rid of some of the chrome.

definietly. On in 1996-1997 could you get a single cab from factory with the V6. rare truck.

Well..that's a huge black hole to start down.

Id buy the truck first and figure out if it needs any maintenance done first. Then worry about mods.

That makes sense. I have done a ton of research on the 1st gen Taco's and everybody seems to love them. My neighbor has had one for years and it has been torture watching him drive my dream truck.

Well I tried to do my research on this but I guess I'll ask my question here. Is either red or blue loctite recommended on the 4 lower balljoint bolts?

I tried to find out on TTORA but that site is so fucked with ads I gave up. I use an ad blocker on my computer but my phone slows down too much with one. Here's what TTORA looks like....

yea shame it went to shit..

anyways. I use red. But have used blue with 0 issues. I think either is fine really. Red is supposed to take heat to break but i've never had problem breaking the bolts loose with red.

I use blue, I wouldn't use red. Some Toyota techs I've talked to don't use any at all.

Just torque them properly and you'll be fine.

Okay I've got both in my arsenal but I've heard that the LBJ bolts have had a history of shearing so I wanted to make sure before I put Red on it. I usually use red for critical things like that.

I am buying it this Saturday no matter how hard my girlfriend try's to nix it. I figured the Yakima would look stupid on there. What is the top rated website for aftermarket parts (just curious)?

I love it bruddah. I can see myself going down that path with mine eventually. It'll be a lot easier than turning my 80 series Cruiser into a 'ute-back' or 'tray-back'. Or whatever the Aussies call those beds.

How did the original number 2 plug that you pulled look?

Edit: nevermind, I hadn't seen your post finding the source of your MIL. Awesome job on working that stuff all out yourself, man.
