    Sliders, rear bumper, front skid, lifted
    When swapping out my CV's, the ABS stopped working. Pulled the sensors, inspected & cleaned them. Traced wires for tug damage. Nothing on either side. I figured it's not worth it. I'm not a huge fan of ABS and except for when my brakes were horrifically low, my ABS never activated when I'd expected it to. And when it id activate before new brakes, it was over any small rough spot and it felt far more primitive than any other ABS I'd felt. So I'm just going without it. I'll pull the fuse eventually to make sure it's deleted. If I ever feel like pulling the dash apart, I'll remove the light bulb. Frankly, having the ABS light on all the time is the worst part, IMO :notsure:

    What effect can beating on the LCAs have? Is there anything to them really, other than their size, the fact that stuff attaches to them and the bushings/where they're mounted to the truck. I can't imagine it really matters if you beat them up. I don't see any functional parts on the underside of them. I'm sure there is a reason for LCA skids, but other than protecting the LBJ (assuming skids do that, no idea), I don't really see why they're worth the money and weight.

    Do your Baja Design lights not fit behind the grill? I was looking into getting the SR8, but looking at yours it doesn't look like the Satoshi would clear the lights!

    So apparently all this talk about ball joints is selling the shit out of them...I ordered mine last night from Camelback and got a email this am that they are out of LBJs, UBJs, and OTREs.... 1 to 2 weeks.... on the plus side I font some old service records in my wife's files (she was the PO) and the steering rack was replaced at 185,000 so I'm holding off on the ITREs.... New Pads, Rotors, Drums and Shoes tomorrow...

    I took them off.

    They're not needed, get in the way, and collect mud and crap.

    I'm thinking I could just get it to fit with a standard backset Satoshi. I still need to trim the brackets a bit more to get the lights where I want them. I have the screen I want to use and I'm thinking of having the Satoshi project out a bit or just be slightly backset from flush.

    I moved down to Houston from Stamford CT in 1997.
    I had a Ford Probe I bought in 1995.
    I also have a 2000 RAV-4 that I got from a friend which was a NYC car until 2013 bur low miles (49K).

    I bought my 2003 Taco last May, and every time I work under it I am still amazed at how clean and great the condition of it is, being a southern vehicle.

    Many years ago, a buddy of mine got his done at Maaco. On his way home, the hood flew off. They forgot to bolt it back on.

    Good job. That vinyl looks cool. I could see me doing this, as I hate the carpet.
    Is there a smell to the new vinyl?

    I went with 50mil GTMat and also spayed seams with undercoat. Did inside doors and also the holes on the inner door also. Next was RAMMAudio foam

    Next i insulated the open spots behind door panel.

    So I blew a CV boot today... kinda... A clamp is missing. The boot doesn't seem to be damaged. Anyone think I can get away with just re-clamping it?
