Yeah at 6'5" that's a no-go for me haha. I just need to find some seats for cheap to experiment on and see how low I can get them to sit.

Damn sounds like you can barely fit in the stock seats haha. Try looking at 3rd gen 4Runner seats, 75% of it bolts on except for one mounting foot.

I like the leather ones out of the Limited T4R, but even if you can find them around here they want an arm and a leg for 'em. I might look at Lexus seats though, I like the ones you picked up.

They're really nice. I looked at about 100 different cars at my local Pick & Pull and these were by far the nicest. I looked at Audis, Benzes, VW's, Subarus -- almost all the imports, and the Lexus ones were the most comfortable. It has memory foam, power adjustments, black leather, and heat. Plus it's manufactured by Toyota so it's nice to stay close to the brand.

Do you have normal Taco buckets, since your local I'd trade my leather T4R buckets for stock taco buckets and a little cash.

Once I put a new body on I'll be putting in seats with provisions for a 5 point harness. :D

It may be in my head but the 3rd gen 4runner seats I just put in feel just a tad bit higher?

I used to drive a Miata (6'1") and I remember reading that you could remove some foam from the seats to give more room. I never got around to doing it since I'm kind of at the limit for "just tall enough to fit". I wonder if you could do something like that to your seats to sit lower?

I have zero desire to ship these, they're heavy and awkward to package. Although I appreciate the enthusiasm. You have a tan interior don't you? These are grey.

Yeah but all the ones over here, if any, are torn to shit and the local yards are DBs. But no problem.

Clutch pedal sticking to the floor and slow to return. Looking at new master cylinders and slave cylinders. Are our oem cylinders Aisin? I found an Aisin master cylinder and slave cylinder on Amazon for significantly less than the prices listed on oem parts websites.

Yes sir. I got my clutch master and slave off Amazon. So far so good. You could see they had ground off the TEQ logo on mine.

A bit frustrated with my new springs. I had some SAW's with red/rusted/unknown springs that were no longer straight.

I bought some 650lb springs from summit racing and have reason to believe they are softer! Damn it.

This is with over an inch of preload...
