    lol...I literally>>

And clutch freeplay can be adjusted via the locking nut and the rod that runs from the pedal assembly to the clutch master....Just loosen the lock nut then spin the rod till you get the right free play..then re-tighten the lock nut.

IIRC free play should be 5-15mm...

I guess I'm just trying to make the best of a crappy situation. I realize that they could have gotten away with a lot more. They left my head unit, and didn't even find my registration or anything with all the personal info on it, nor did they try to get into my bed under the tonneau. I'm just thankful that my truck didn't get messed up, but that being said, I'm pissed those hoodboogers got my iPod!!

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm suspecting. The area I live in has lots of teenagers, I figure they got bored and saw my head unit and assumed there had to be at least something of value in there.

I so wish there was a way to add an auxiliary jack to the back of the stock head unit. I love the sleeper look if you can gain better technology and sound.

In my 05 Legacy I was able to keep the stock head unit and add a aux jack. So stealth looking and was able to hook an iPod up.

On the contrary - if people looked into my truck and saw the cassette adapter, they'd probably say, "dayum... what a broke muthafu@%... he doesn't have squat in there"

Yeah, mine doesn't even have a cd player, it's just AM/FM or USB. The USB cables are run into the glove box and they're completely unseen when the glovebox is closed.

But the fact you have an aftermarket head unit is a tip off.

Fortunately the morons who broke into your truck are moronic morons.

My clutch pedal did the exact same thing and squeaked. I replaced the 3 nylon bushing in the pedal assembly with 3 bronze bushing and it fixed it completely tightened everything up and stopped the squeaking. Clutch had a completely better feel to it also.

Here is a link to the write up I used as a guide.

    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/1st-gen-tacomas/76599-clutch-pedal-squeak-new-bushing-design.html

I used the same size bushing as listed in the write up I just choose to use one with a flange like the one below.[IMG]

What bushing don't we have? Cause there were 3 bushing on the spring on my clutch one on each end of the spring and the one in the middle.
