Tore into the front of the truck
Installing ac condenser, dryer, lines
Wasn't able to install all lines but hopefully I can take it to a mechanic tomorrow and get ac going.

 

I had to cut mine down

 

I was aware of this issue, so when I purchased the Tundies at the wreckers, I specifically asked for the mounting bolts. Good thing I did.

I'll have to look into it and see if tuning myself is do able. I like Meth injection. Not 100% I want it on my rig but is cool stuff

 

I'm on the same page. I don't have any ping issues, but if it will allow more timing advance and raise the effective fuel octane rating, and all you have to run is cheapo windshield washer fluid, I'm in. This would be especially nice when you're out in the middle of nowhere and the only gas available is 87 octane.

 

Yeah would I need an aem with the Meth kit is my question.

YES if you tuned it when you do the install, NO if someone else did it for you, like a Dyno shop, its just about getting the right size nozzle to your pulley size, boost, altitude and when to start spraying, at 4 pounds or 5 , etc. then your good to go,

 

It's a nice CLEAN setup as you see, green light means it's spraying

Green light says your spraying then and amber means time to refill

 

So there is no tuning per say. It's progressive with how much boost you have.

 

I'm looking at it as a supplemental system, I wouldn't rely on the meth since you can't really tune it per say, just adjust nozzle size and when it kicks in. Pretty coarse adjustment really.
