    I've read nothing bad about them, but everything I've read is a few years old.

    I have them, they've been great so far. I think for about 1.5 years now.

    Nice, just checked your build thread and that's the exact same front suspension set-up I am planning.

    Everything out except the steering rack and only the fluid lines are holding it in. Rack comes out tomorrow morning, and then I spend some time cleaning out all the grease and road grime. I picked up some CVs from Advanced Auto/Carquest, but the originals are much beefier and feel pretty solid, no play - might just reboot and throw them back in (ran with the upper boots torn for at least 9 months :eek:). What should I check for in the CVs? New UBJs are pressed in ($40 to pop out the old and press in the new at a local shop), and new LBJs, TRs and TREs, and new rack from LowRange go in when all the grime is cleaned out.:thumbsup:

    Your oem cv's are much better. Just reboot and grease and should be fine.

    Also oem lbj are much better then anything else. I'd highly recommend spending the extra dough on them

    Yep, the new UBJs and LBJs are OEM. The lowers I'm removing are still in excellent condition (100K on them since recall). Gonna clean them up and keep them as spares.

    No work done on the truck today, decided to take my daughter out and let her ride her dirtbike around after work. Hopefully get the back bumper installed for good this weekend, just waiting on some of the rubber trim stuff from CBI to put on the parts I cut off, they sent me enough to only do 1 side and I cant find anything even close to it around here, the stuff they use is super soft and flexible, holds the edge really tight so it doesnt move at all and matches the oem weather strip around the fender flares perfectly as far as color and size go so I figured I'd wait the few extra days for them to mail some more to me...

    Did get to flex it out a little for the first time since the suspension install on our way out of the trails, the front end actually flexes better than i expected, for being IFS...

    Damn that copper looks perfect on Red, jealous... How bad is the rubbing on the front when your compressed like that, I can't imagine you can turn much if at all without eating your flare or inner fender lining.

    Thanks guys, I do really like the copper and red together!

    Thanks! Tires rub a fair amount. That was the initial reason I got out of the truck, to see the clearance. With the wheels straight they clear everything no problem. Turning they touch the front valance just barely but I've already got the replacement front bumper that will make that a non issue. They do get into the fender flare/plastic lining a decent amount, once I get the front bumper/winch on and get the final ride height dialed in I'll address that and start cutting it away until it clears.

    Resealed my valve covers on my donor engine watching this video:

    @Timmah! you're the man!

    One suggestion. Put all the torque specs you'll use at the beginning of the video with the part numbers.

    Then I gave my lower intake plenum a bath in the tub :p

    Does anyone know an alternative to that grease/lube that is included in the Wheeler's bushing kits?
