Picked up the manual hubs, 2 sets of CV's, and the steering knuckles today for my 4WD swap.

Anyone ever powdercoat in a toaster oven? I don't want to ruin my full size food oven. Planning on coating them red and black, the Tundra calipers too when I get them eventually.

It's just a little bigger for a little more filtration media. For those that own both a 1st gen Tundra V8 and a Tacoma V6, you only need to stock one filter for both trucks.

So we installed OME nitrochargers all the way around and Dakars a couple weekends ago. Noticeable lean right away. Thought we'd let it settle out over a couple weeks then see. Well it's still bad. 38" on driver side and 39.5" on the passenger side. Will that 10mm spacer up front fix a 1.5" difference?

My block and spacer lift before was perfectly level so this is sad haha

The leaf packs are side specific as well. Swap those.

10mm spacer will lift about 14mm. (not sure on the exact ratio)

I'm debating on whether or not I should powdercoat my manual hubs. Is it more beneficial than just priming, painting, and clear coating it?

Not if you hit a rock. I paint everything because that's what I used to do for work. People that have experience / the hookup with cheap powder coat have good results with that, but touch up isn't as easy. Taking your time and doing it right will get you good results either way.

The hubs are small enough where I can coat them myself at home. I don't know if I could do it in a toaster oven, but if it was possible it's a much cheaper alternative than having a shop do it. Got quoted $80 per Brake Caliper back when I wanted to do some Tundra brakes.

Sound and heat insulation today, Damplifier Luxury Liner is mega thick! Going to try and get the vinyl flooring in and everything back together before dark. FYI to anyone doing this, I recommend removing storage cubby/shelf to insulate behind and underneath it rather than work around itIMG_0090.jpgIMG_0095.jpg IMG_0103.jpg
