What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

I had mine done at a shop in west sac. well, replaced. $110

Yes, replace. I'm watching a "how-to" and I see that you have to replace the whole assembly, not just the bearings.

I recently plastidipped my emblems, cleaned up my tires (they were stained brown for a few months), and made my fender flares dark again (they were very faded). All for about $15.

 

Found a leak seems to be coming from this dust cover... that's the highest point had to have happened in the last week all that grime just wipes right off can anyone point me in the right direction?

 

dont see a problem, see a nice nest of parts

I would replace it. I replaced mine it was leaking in the same place I got tired of putting power steering every 2 weeks.

 

Have not posted in many years but just got my reg cab back on the road after sucking in a deer .....revenge time now.....

 

Installing much needed brakes tomorrow.

 

What lift setup are you running?

 

I realize this being the first gen section many of us don't tow much. But maybe someone has a suggestion for a decent brake controller. I need to put one in my land cruiser because I'll be getting close to the towing limit for it and I realize this usually has more to do with stopping than going.
