Bought a full set of Budbilt 3/16" steel skids earlier this summer from @Dalandser, but waited on installing them until I got my Kings w/600lb springs on. Well, the Kings have been on for a month now so I figured it was time to put this heavy bitch on once and for all....

Stock skid on the right took a beating over the past year and a half, but did it's job and did it well enough. Was definitely time to replace though.

I only put the front IFS skid on, going to do the underbelly portion another night. Pretty simple install, minus having to go get a longer bolt for one side because the bracket was bent up from hitting a rock at some point.

Does anyone know the size of this bolt? Mine popped out of the clutch pedal bracket and I have no idea where it went.Screenshot_20171027-154624.jpg

8x1.25mm I believe - if it has a 12mm head then that's what it is.

I pulled the trigger on new tires because Discount Tire is having a $100 of $400 purchase. I only paid $600 for the tires. Wheels were $400

I'm going to be doing the Tundra brake upgrade pretty soon so I'll let you know

 dude a bunch of those shots came out sick. Best part is I didn't really touch them in Lightroom at all. And don't worry you made up for it by having some good beer too :p

I was given an estimate to paint the replacement bed, the price is right. The body shop should have my replacement bed and tailgate by the end of next week. I'll be salvaging the flares, tailgate, mud flaps and taillights off my old bed before it gets squished. Replacing the bed is the nuclear option for this cancerous mole/hole in the bed floor, but the spray in bed liner sent me over the edge.

Just an FYI your fender flares wont match the holes in the bed. You need the bigger flares. Either weld up the holes and paint or source new flares.

It's still going to be a fleet side so same flares. I would have bought a step side bed just to piss off the haters.

Went for the roll on Rustoleum bedliner. Took me about 4 hours but I was switching back and forth between painting the bed and my Wildernest. Should be able to finish the Wildernest this weekend. I ran out of the roll on so I only finished the top, but might try spray paint for the bottom and do a comparison.
