Oh that's why you weighed the truck. You also need rear weight too.

Those are words to live by. Maybe not exactly the same way but pretty similar.

The metaphor is too strong... must resist... can't hold out any...

Then you stick your key into something else and find out what being broke is really like

I've done a mod or two
Some how in college I had way less funds to do any of this shit but I had tons more time. Now I have no issue with funding, but I can't find the time to do any of it haha. Oh well, after Feb I think job wise things will be back to normal and I'll be able to put some shit together for the truck again. I still have mod catchup to do to be back where I was before the flip, compressors are still on the shelf, winch is mounted with two bolts, ditch lights are half mounted and not wired....

Seriously impressed you managed to do all that with the time that you had after you rolled the truck. I don't have time either I just keep finding myself coming back here, haha.

I'm probably going to have to park this truck under a tarp on jackstands next year. Can't justify paying $250 a month to park on campus.

$250 a month?! Yep, you're definitely going to have to start selling some valuable body parts haha. I only paid $120 for a full year to park where I go to school.

Most UC campuses in Cali don't even allow Freshmen to have a car. Almost all private colleges have insane parking costs.

    That's California for ya.

I appreciate it man. I could never have completed the swap of everything that quickly without it being Washington's most record perfect weather summer and there is no way it would have been done without the help of @drr, @Adude, @Digiratus, and my friend Kyle. You have no idea how much another pair of hands speeds things up when you've been working alone for so long. I would go two or three weeks (after work or on my days off) working on the truck by myself, and they Kyle would drive up to help me over weekends and we'd get lots done. The first day I started working on the truck was the worst day as well, felt like there was too much to do and I wouldn't get to even make it back to my house let alone to the wheeling trip planned for late Sept. Around halfway through something just clicked and I started wrapping up things one by one and it was done before I knew it and needed to be taken for registration and emissions (which it passed with a failing CAT). I wish I was closer to offer a hand in your drivetrain swap, almost a weekend project with two people.

Does your campus have a free parking lot, mine did and I would just enjoy my mile walk to and from the rest of campus, screw paying for parking. When it would snow I'd park in teachers spaces and in maintenance spaces too because you couldn't see the curb signs.

Did you get your PO171 code figured out? Or just waiting to see if it comes back?

College fees.... lucked out this year and went to school and live at home (I dunno if that’s lucky or not actually, probably not as fun), no rent, no parking, no food, low tuition due to local scholarships and stuff. Still no money buuuuut, hopefully my winter hobby makes some for me.

You should really get a scan tool and view your fuel trims, easy way to tell if it is just going to come back and may help you pinpoint it.

Ah, sometimes stuff like that happens. If it does come back, I had a thought the other day. It might be fuel related, maybe a dirty fuel filter or weak fuel pump limiting fuel and causing it to run lean.
