Lol if you think that's the place to get Harbor Freight Discounts....

    http://www.hfqpdb.com/

It's a database of every single coupon for every single item that HF puts on sale. Also the newest 20% coupons and free item coupons. I don't walk out of a HF without using one or two of those coupons.

Haha nice, as long as I don't pay the price on the item I'm usually happy. Didn't see any jackstand specific ones right now although they do it once an a while

    What tires?

I'm really impressed with the KO2s, Jon gave me, in the snow. But they are loud and don't seem to be perfectly balanced on dry roads.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Picked up a few more parts for the 4x swap this weekend.

And while I'm on the subject... Bought these from @Tour991, and let me tell you. James is a stand up guy. The transaction was completely 100% seamless. Great communication and pleasant to deal with. I would not hesitate, at all, to do another deal with him.

I was going to mention the sidewall issue off-road but figured I'd keep it to the "grip" comment.

Anyone else rear frame just behind where hitch mounts looks like this. Tom I am putting on a cbi rear tire carrier and just wondering if I need to reinforce the frame. Looks like it was made this way just concerned me!!!

I was always a KO fan. Started with them in 94 on my Bronco and they've always treated me well in every Colorado condition on and off road.

The KOs I last took off my Tacoma went 80,000 miles. Unbelievable.

Then, for the first time ever, I tried a different tire: Goodyear Adventure All Terrain. I really liked them on road. In the snow they were solid. Off road we're ok enough.

Then Jon traded me his KO2s with 3000 miles on them for my Goodyears with 25,000 miles on them. I figured what the hell. Might as well.

Aside from tearing my sidewall 1 day after putting them on, as Viking Brett loves to point out, they've been nice. Absolutely great in the snow. Vast improvement over the KOs in the snow.

No that was not made that way. Looks like it was tweaked at some point. Did you remove the horizontal trailer hitch mounting bolts on each side?

I bought the truck as is years ago and just now getting around to doing the rear high clearance bumper. Guess me and the old welder will fix her up tom straighten it up before I put it on!!! Apparently the DA friend of mine tried to load way to much on it at one point!

I blame Old Brett for churning up the tree stump that rolled into the hill climb as I was following.

Oh and his decision to take that trail that ended up a dead end at private property.

So basically it's Old Brett's fault. Not the KO2s sidewall or driver error.

I think he was too. Which is why he drove me into town, waited and drove me back (for a total of 3 hours?) in order to get it replaced under warranty. Rather than drink beer at camp.

    The guilt overcame him.

The KO2s have been okay to me, but snow is the only terrain I find they grip well in. Dry road is to be expected, hell even a bald passenger tire can do that. But they balance worse than my washing machine and they don't do well on wet roads. Kinda a meh tire at a premium price, only upside is they're wearing fast so I can ditch em soon.

Also Icons are back on and WOW I'm impressed how they ride now. I need to go wheeling to see how great it is now but damn if it isn't a pillow in the front right now.
