Git down to Costco and buy that nice Arcan 3k jack they sell, great price and it lifts high. Mine's perfect for the truck and cruiser.

I was thinking about getting 600s or maybe just some skid plates, rock sliders, and a winch

Rarely, but 20 minutes up the hill it'll dump. We're right in the spot where it doesn't snow.
But the weirdest part was, it was only 43 out. Not sure what was happening in the sky, but it snowed somehow lol

Regular cabs are really light, I truly don't know what will work best for them. I just know that 650 would be tough for me to swing with no weight, I have a pretty heavy bumper with winch, compressors in the engine bay, heavy agm battery and sliders probably add a little weight as well. I'm not sure how much more they can handle TBH, skids might be too much for them. But when my truck was green in a former life and had 620lb coils with zero weight on them it was HARSH and obscenely tall.

Hmm maybe I’ll look for 600s
I do have an air compressor, but still not enough extra weight

Unless you plan on a bumper or something heavy maybe look a wee bit lower

No that's what that red wire going off to the side is for. It also goes straight into the body harness not through the connector.

7 or 8? Yeah that won't make a difference haha. My bumper before winch is right around 125lbs and with the 35lb of winch it is pretty sizable extra weight hanging right off the front.

I would tell you if I had a battery that can hold a damn charge... my guess was it's for the rear ABS sensors? Or something like that.

Lighter than most, synthetic line but still a big chunk of steel and iron. Was 75 with steel line. Shipping weight was 80lbs. Winch might even be 45 but it doesn't feel that heavy when I lift it.
