    Make him cut it off clean and re mount it. A welder is only as good as the fitup. Thus why a fabricator learned fitup instead of just being a welder.

    Its a roll of the dice in my opinion. I would cut them and re weld at the proper angle. Stick them in a press to get the desired shape. If you try and fix them on they could wrinkle cause the tubing wall is all ready thined out from bend 1. or just tweak it at all the wrong "weak" spots puting jogs and dog legs in every where else.

    Not saying i havent been there, can you cinch anchor a hy lift base to concrete and shackle the bar to the stub in reverse drawing it down. Or maybe flip the stub over giving it a surface. Maybe driving 2 tires on a 8ft hard wood 4x4 bolted to the jack would be enough. You can use a hy lift to spread or retract. Aka poor mans winch.

    Ouch. Dam. Dude needs a good kick in the balls. Now on to fixing it.
    You could either cut off the sliders and move them or chop them. Moving them is your best route. Chopping them will look like shit and the tube will act like a spring if you cut them and youll never get them lined up again with out clamping the shit out of them.
    Got a torch? If your good with a torch. You can burn the welds off and not cut the frame. I just cut mine off. It's the easiest way to do it. Then grind off the excess.
    Or you can also grind off the welds but your going to hate life and go through a lot of wheels.
    You can turn a blind eye and run it the way it is. All up to you. Good luck.

    If I had a torch id cut them off. I'm thinking just cutting the end about a inch and putting a new end cap on them

    I bought mine used and the driver side is tweaked if only i had a way to bend the passanger side in then it wouldn't be a issue with them being to far forward20180304_090232.jpg

    Question for you MT guys, I'm swapping in a manual and don't have the inspection/dust cover. I've tried searching online parts supplier but can't seem to find anything, any suggestions?

    I've done a mod or two
    On mine it is just a flat piece of sheet metal with the bellhousing holes in it, could probably make it if you had to.

    Still throwing the codes. For the multiple cylinder misfire, I may try replacing my spark plugs with the ones gadget provided. As for the the lean out, I really just have to wait for my afr gauge, or try and see if I can pull the afr from the piggyback

    That seems to be the only way to go. I'm going to call camelback tomorrow, but i can't find any listings for it.

    I want to rebuild my 5VZ - is it absolutely necessary to machine the block or will replacing all the seals, gaskets, pistons, and piston rings will suffice?

    450k on the drivetrain but everything works fine.

    alot still need done
    the least you can do is honing, but i'd recommend replace all seals, gaskets, piston rings,main bearings, rod bearings. theres alot to it then what most people think also get some plasti-gauge to see what your tolerances are so you can get the correct bearings and piston rings
