Couldn't tell ya, although I have a hunch why.

Anyway it's really not rocket appliances, it's a belt driven airpump, I'm going to make a bracket to hold it onto another engine so it can be a belt driven airpump there. That's about where the project stops, you see there isn't that much to it. At this point it makes a few psi and I'll probably get bored with it in rapid fashion.

Here's the JBL Stealth Box in my truck - fits pretty nicely between the seats and in between the console.

If only I had a sub to put it in, and an amplifier. I have a Kenwood under-seat micro subwoofer and it's really not all that powerful enough for me.

It'll be going into storage until I clear out my cache of other projects I have to do. I should be picking up my Relentless Fab Predator bumper and sliders sometime this weekend and I'll be welding it all together and having it powdercoated the whole week.

Only pet peeve is it only slightly mismatches the stock carpet. As you can see my interior is 50% 1995-2000, and 49% 2001-2004, and 1% 1996 4Runner.

About 16x12 inches. It fits perfectly under my seat.

Well I picked up a new door today. 8 hour round trip. It’s been repainted before and the repaint was not good as evidence of the chipping paint and clear coat. 0B6DBB8E-A303-48DC-A75F-AC52B1FF3D26.jpg38BA547B-D161-4807-BD65-8DC587456D4F.jpg

I asked in one of the Tacoma facebook groups if anyone had one and a guy in eastern Ohio had one. Paid $50 and my $90 in gas to get there and back. He said he buys a truck every winter to part out so he has a lot of stuff, especially smaller things. He said he sold a 3.4 with 135k for like $500 about a month ago.

I was about to say, I have two good doors I'd sell ya but we're too far from each other haha. Pretty sure I could have shipped it for under $90 too through a freight broker.

Probably would have been close. Oh well, better than the $900 the aftermarket door shells are that the body shops get.

Upon searching eBay for doors, this abomination came up.

Someone posted their lifted truck with these and was like “they are nice when you are tight trails.” And I think that’s about the only use for vertical doors but yeah they ugly and are horrid on the hinges

Yes they're 2004 Double Cab Limited door panels - this truck came from the factory with crank windows, manual locks, and manual mirrors. Now it's all power - I'm actually upgrading the Tacoma mirrors to the heated 4Runner Limited mirrors. I make power door conversion harnesses.

I've been looking for one of these boxes forever - this is the first one I've found used! The crappy Kenwood micro sub under my seat isn't cutting it for me - lol.
