Holy fuck haha I guess Im gonna sell mine seperate if i ever sell my truck god damn! haha Im driving with gold on the bumpers apparently..haha

hey just an FYI...right night to where you click "Quote" to quote someone. There is a "Multi-Quote" button too. As you go through reading the thread click on that. When you are ready to reply to the thread there is a button next to "Reply" named "Insert Quotes". Click that and all the messages you had hit "Multi-Quote" on will pop up and you just insert them then type your response to each message. This is nice as A) you don't have to go back to where you were reading and B) doesn't mean you post 5 messages in a row to separate people.

A multi quote message looks like the post I am making right now. Im responding to 4 people in one post.

    Lame.

    Awesome! Should be great!

I'm sorry to have failed you sensei. But a SC is a better option due to down time. Plus I could build a better engine later

I know buddy just giving you a reason. The 4.7 is a good engine but the amount of Fab work alone was a hassel.

So as the guy who is purchasing the $1600 Elite Offroad bumper I figured I’d give my reasoning behind the price.

After suspension, my plan was to purchase a Relentless Fab Predator bumper since it’s the closest version to the Elite and Elite bumpers never go up for sale. The base price for the bare metal Predator bumper is $1129. Shipping to my house would be $380. With that much invested, might as well powdercoat it for $175 more. Grand total $1509 bare, or $1684 powdercoated.

The seller asked for serious inquires as he knew it was a rare and sought after bumper. I searched TW and found the last one sold December 3, 2015 no price listed anymore but in the thread a current Elite bumper owner states “I may be a bit biased but I think $1500 is a great price.” Same thread someone offered $800 and an All-Pro.
Another WTB thread was put up with someone offering $1500. Multiple other WTB threads have been put up.

So I pulled the trigger on the unicorn bumper. The only thing that sucks is this ate my suspension fund and then some so it’s gonna look kind of silly on 15 year old stock suspension but considering the product I don’t mind going a little out of order on the mod list.

nothing wrong with that man. You'll love it. Still the best looking bumper out there IMO and they almost never pop up for sale.

I paid 905 for mine shipped. But it was GB pricing and I didn't get it PC. That was before a lot of bumpers were out there even though. To me armor as done nothing but increase in price.

I just didn't know I'd made such a financial investment :p My rear bumper is worth 3 grand by that standard almost haha

Haha, I hear ya. It was definitely a dent in the mod fund. Might be the only thing the truck gets this year besides maintenance.

I really dig the ARB bumpers, simple and effective...they look alright on 2nd gens and just plain silly on 3rd gens, but something about the utilitarian look/feel of them is perfect on 1st gens. I would love an Elite bumper but my next choice would be either a Relentless Predator or ARB.

I also kind of dig this bumper from NWTI, and it's cheap ($430) if you get the DIY kit...just kind of has a 'fat bottom lip' feel to it but it's not too bad.

edit: it's actually $520 if you get the DIY kit with the hoops

Main reason I went with ARB is cause of the build quality. It's simple design is tough as nails. Survived 2 deer and a prius

I know that ARB has always been proud of the claim that their bumper works with the factory airbag sensors, so as far as they go it should remain the same. I'm sure though with some of the cheaper options that's something to consider

I think tube bumpers look a lot better without the light hoop.

I'll give you mmmmmaybe half of what that other one went for, lol. But you're across the country so it wouldn't work out unless you're coming to CA anytime soon. I'm sure someone over there would love to scoop it up
