    alot still need done
    last "scary" pop i got was on my 2000 tacoma. the driver side closest to the cab leaf spring mount punched through the bottom of the frame. at first i didnt know what it was until i got home and saw my truck leaning more then usual. damn frame rust

    My frames definilty a little Holier than me but I don’t think that’s it.

    I think it’s the Billy shocks thatve been blown for years and the fact that I have zero bump stops to stop me from getting extra flexy.

    Mikes did my 35s in about 1:45 or so. Slightly longer maybe.

    Ah okay, that would explain it, yeah the single is probably a bit undersize for airing up four at once haha. But a 35 in under 2 mins for the dual is damn good I think.

    its not bad. No where near as fast as CO2..but still good.

    Not sure you've really had "more use" from yours than me...

    And that was after I had just aired up my four tires. The longer it runs and the hotter it gets, it slows down a little.

    I thought more about that air up 4 at once idea and the limiting factor other than single piston air compressors would be the amount of throughput on the inflator itself. It's adequate for what a single valve stem down stream can flow but I bet if you have a twin piston compressor (or really any compressor that flowed more) that that would be the bottleneck.

    I still don't really see how it'd be any different than airing them up one at a time. You're taking four tires from ~17 to 40psi, regardless. Perhaps it's time for an experiment. I do have plenty of hose...just need the fittings.

    This is a great point. Will need to noodle.

    I decommission small business computer equipment when they upgrade. I have the computers, servers, and communication systems from 2 dental offices and an IT consultant.

    You're assuming it is linear, but the compressor efficiency changes with higher pressure, so we end up with a curve provided there are no timelords around haha. So my guess is it will be fast getting to say 25 or so and struggle getting up to 32 or whatever you run.

    I get that efficiency curve, but running the curve once vs. four times shouldn't be any different really. The flow rate though is a really interesting tidbit. As I've noodled for 3 minutes on that, I've wondered if the fittings are actually restricting flow, if having a manifold (less restriction) will actually decrease overall time...

    Edit: ...we know the gauge can handle more flow than a single compressor can provide - b/c it's the same gauge for the dual compressor... so 1 more minute of noodling and I'm back to "it'll probably be the same."

    Then why make the statement in the first place?

    To me from the photo you posted. It looks like you haven't treated it very well. All I'm saying is I've had mine for longer than you..and for all intensive purposes..used it just as much as you have. Mine gets packed in a metal ammo can with other hoses and can not move around or get beat up in the ammo can.

    Do you throw things on top of your gear bag it sits in? Is it protected in the gear bag? What else is in the gear bag?

    To me it looks like a storage and handling issue more than anything.


    But that's just my thought

    You're not the first to try it. Brandon in Colorado has done this. I can't remember if he did 2 at a time or all 4...

    Don't forget about head loss through the system from fittings, manifolds, connections, etc. The ideal setup would be a single hose straight from the compressor to the tire with no gauges, quick disconnects, or anything else. Everything you add on in addition to that will reduce flow rate, and by the time you have a setup that could attach to all four tires at once, those losses will become significant.

    Mine just bumps around with the hose behind my seat. No special storage. I do think the gauges aren't particularly good anyway. Mine is a solid 3-5psi off from all my other gauges so I don't bother treating it like a precision instrument.

    If the weather is nice it ain't a big deal. When it's less than nice I prefer to be done first and sit in my warm truck.
