    Yeah it’s exactly the same. It’s actually part of the installation instructions from Magnuson, but if you have a dealer-installed TRD I think they did it differently for some reason.

    Just need a real short piece of hose to go from the boost port straight down to the FPR.

    Yes, be aware that if you have a 7th it'll likely need some tweaking as it and your other injectors will be causing it to run richer under boost with the extra pressure. Also I'd only recommend it if you have an upgraded pump.

    I have the upgraded Walboro pump that came with the 7th kit. Even with the 7th I'm still running too lean, so I was wondering if maybe this mod would help out. I'm at high 11's - low 12's on my AFR gauge at WOT which is definitely too lean, at least from what I've heard. The pinging at times makes it pretty apparent though.

    Anyway now that I'm finally running an AFR gauge, I thought it could be worth it to try the FPR mod out and see if it helps...if not I can always reverse it.

    What makes you say that? I hit about 11.5:1 AFR at WOT, which I consider to be about perfect. Anything less would be pretty rich.

    I should say it's usually low 12s, maybe even 12.5. I've only gotten it to hold at 11.8 one time and that was pulling up a hill at about 5psi of boost, but that's the lowest I've seen it go. Then of course there's the pinging

    Also, I don't see my AFR change from ~14.7 at all until I hit maybe 3 or 4 psi, shouldn't it be around mid 12s at low psi?

    Still trying to figure all this out, I ran for way too long without an AFR gauge so I'm catching up on my reading

    Do you have the stock maps loaded on the 7th AIC? What size pulley? And what is your ignition timing at WOT, or when it pings?

    i cut mine off and then hammered. Worked better than trimming it down and hammering.

    Mine is the same, barely rubs on one side and not on the other. Our trucks are not perfectly symmetrical. I don't worry about it.

    Stock size pulley. No upgrades other than the 7th kit. I emailed Gadget last week about acquiring the Split Second software so I can see what the 7th is doing and adjust where necessary but haven't been able to yet.

    Pinging got better with the 7th (it was real bad before) but still not safe. Always run 91 octane, 2 step cooler plugs, etc.

    Weird that you have stock everything and are having issues. I would recommend making small adjustments to start with if you remap the 7th at all.

    haha nice, probably just admiring the whole setup.

    It's been a long time since I've taken my truck in for service, since I moved into a place with a driveway I try to do it all myself but when I did go to the local Toyota dealer...there was one kid that worked in the service dept. that would move the vehicles into the garage, and he'd always come out when he saw my truck and want to be the one to drive it to the back. Made me smile but also kinda worried that he would take it for a joy ride or something...always made careful note of my mileage when dropping it off, lol.

    Awesome thanks, didn't know I could just download it lol :facepalm: yeah I've got a local guy that does fab work for me and that knows these trucks really well, hoping he can help me out. He installed my 7th kit too. Not really something I want to tackle solo, but I'll be sure to start small.

    Hey guys, sorry for the newbie question but can someone direct me to the thread that show the oil capacities that our trucks hold? Specifically, the 3.4l. I'm trying to change out my differential but I want to make sure I have enough to fill it before I drain it. Thanks guys!
