@Timmah! made a good video on how to check them, I believe he's using his 4runner but it's the same method.

My brain and body are both tired of fitting this supercharger. The only things fueling me now are Dutch Bros and the promise of SC whine. Finally rebent my fuel line and got the washers on.

Also @tymeson run your truck's VIN through Toyota's website and see if your truck comes up for the LBJ safety recall from back in the day...the recall doesn't expire and you can get new LBJ's for free if your truck qualifies. There was a run of bad ones with a manufacturing defect in the later model 1st gens that triggered the recall

After watching this Im good will check again in a couple weeks, i actuallt wedged my prybar on the rear inner lbj bolt and the lca n got no movement i had it on jackstands not a jack on the lca. I read that putting a jack on the lca is not the best thing to do. Maybe im wrong.

I've put my floor jack under the LCA before, never had any issue...just gotta be careful with the placement because the LCA is at an angle and you don't want it to slip.

I heard he was on vacation a little while back but it sounds like others have gotten in touch with him lately...he might just be slammed trying to catch up on PMs and messages, I'd just keep trying and maybe tag him in his thread on TW

I talked to Gunny today in person. He was out for awhile then on vacation. While he was gone he turned online sales over to someone else. That person is not doing their job very well. He said he's going to have to take online sales back over when he's caught up. Best to call him for right now.

Damn, finally caught up on this thread. Missed it for a couple days and was 40 pages behind. Have to check in almost daily. Sorry if quoting old messages...

So true. Screw the kayak fishing though. I prefer creature comforts like a cabin, stereo and a heater. See you're in WA. Shoot me a PM if you are interested in fishing in style...

Where at in Washington are you? I’ve got lots of access to boats on the west side but over here on the east side all I have is my kayak. It’s actually pretty fun, puts a new challenge into it.
