I love my cruiser, best thing I've ever done to the Tacoma haha. Half the mods I do to the Taco would take much longer without it. LX450 is just as cool, minus the 95-97 dashboard and one sliding rear window haha, oh and the smaller 95-97 transmission. Still awesome though, plus three lockers is always neat. I will say that the nicest cruisers go for more than 10k (again not boding well for my financially responsible pitch), but you can get a damn decent one for wheeling for much less. You pay out the ass for paint condition, interior condition, and running gear maintenance. But there are plenty out there with good drivetrains that would make a great wheeler. Long term goal for mine is putting in a 3UR-FE 5.7L Tundra motor in it.

I just was a crusior with locking diffs and in decent condition. Because it will become my camping truck so i know it will beat up. Main thing i dont like about the lx450 is the back window doesn’t slide, i want the sliding window for my dog lol. But i do line the idea of riding a trail in Japanese comfert and luxury lol. I really Just want something where i can keep the dog inside in comfort, back of a ext cab tacoma isn’t that comfy lol. I also want a 1st gen 4 runner but a early modle to make a Rock crawler. Shit i just want damn near every cool tacoma ever made, i have a build plan for all of them lol.

Eventually, gonna have to do 5.29 and I'll do front and rear ARB then too. Well if I keep the thing, I've had thoughts of selling my truck recently. But the other vehicle I want is a poor replacement for it so it'll probably be staying around, with a daily I kinda forget about it and feel bad for it just sitting idle. It is tons of fun to drive though, just gotta make more effort to drive it. What I really need is some lighting haha.

Light bars give better traction haha. I just got a daily and feel bad for the taco, but I love the tacoma, I couldn't part with it ever I think. Keep the thing! You've put so much work into it. Sucks your cruiser is giving you issues. Makes things exhausting.

I do need lights, my ditch lights help, but my headlights are horrid. I really want some Hella's in the front.

Ive heard light colored trucks have it bad but my truck is black and i have no hood glare at all. Its all about postion and angle. Lots of guys just throw it up there and think its all good and then complain about all the problems they have

Sounds about right. I see so many of them in socal, mostly on pristine jeeps in town. I like the thought of doing night runs with a light bar that size

I like the 42” strait on here. Ive seen some guys with curved ones. Not a big fan of those. But you do get more flood with them but thats why i had the pods angled out.

I see lots of bro truck with them up here too. Seen a tundra thay had one and i guess its lose because it just point strait down and he has never fixed it lol. Seen some trucks with them not even wired up lol. Seen jeeps with winches that arnt eveb wired up before too lol.

I like mine they light up everything when im out in the dark with no shadows. I use to use them when me and some of my friends use to meet up at night to play basketball at the out door courts near me lol. Night games were fun

I forgot to mention that my F5s and KO2s are officially sold. So much more room in my garage for junk I don't need.

I don't have to imagine, I had 4 32s and 6 33s in the garage for a week or so. Big tars take up lots of floorspace

I've only got the 3 car garage. Cannot wait to build a shop though, the count down to move out of AZ is constantly running in the back of my head.
