Yea...I didn't have the most graceful time through a gatekeeper, but as far as I know I'm only the second IFS truck to get through it.

what does the 2.0's 3.0's etc that everyone's talking about mean?

I found out I have a cracked coil and need to replace them.

 

2.0 and 3.0 are the diameter of the coil. You have 14'' by 2.5 diameter by 550 lb rating. 2.5 diameter coils fit on 2.0 shocks and 3.0 diameter coils fit on 2.5 shocks like Icon coilovers.

I love my Eibachs. They are very smooth and ride very nicely. I have noticed some settling though. The 650# spring is barely enough IMO, but then I have a about 300#s of added weight hanging off the front.

The 550#s with no bumper or winch on a reg cab with the 4 cyl might be a bit stiff. Not really sure.

 

About $1000 too much for my wallet

I think I read that Tim said he was just taking a break and would make more in the future but who knows is the mayans are right.

 

If the Mayans are right, the only things that will survive are cockroaches and Elite Off Road bumpers

 

can eibach's be ordered straight from eibach? I need to order 1400.250.0550.os... anyone know if that spring alone will give me the 3" lift or will I need to adjust the bilstein shocks?

 

In time I plan on getting a tube bumper hopefully add some weight.

I got my clear corners on ebay but it has been a long time so no link for ya. Why are you doing headlight housings?

 

I had faint ghost writing too when I debadged after 12 years or so.

I washed, clay barred, polished and waxed it. (and yeah both shoulders were spent after that day)

All gone. If I put my face up to the truck (literally like an inch or two away) at a certain angle in the right light, I can faintly see the "SR5" shadow on my driver's side.

But even I don't notice that anymore.

 

I have never used ScratchX... couldn't tell ya.

 

I'm running vision eye headlights I got from eBay. Ive had them on for almost two years now, no problems. I've got clear corners too, make sure you seal the corners well because they can fog. I haven't had any problems with the headlights fogging though.

I just painted mine flat black to cover up the ugly brown color the last owners painted it. Then I took it on the beach in NC for the first time a few days ago and through some mud yesterday.
