I'm telling yah do one fun run to get your moral up on it. Dump the clutch at like 4k and spin it for a sec. With no bed it'll be a skid factory

I have nothing to lose. Why not.

I’ll bolt down the seats, replace the fuel sender, and we’ll go from there.

Really hard driving the truck when the seats aren’t bolted down. Haha.

Probably goes without saying that you shouldn't do that near other people's cars and you have to keep holding the gas after you dump the clutch. Hooliganism is an art haha

Of course. I know a few places I can do that.

I’m definitely going to have to replace the clutch on this truck anyway.

I’m having too much fun with this stupid thing. The stalling, sputtering, and dying of the engine, the unbolted seats, the lack of an interior and a bed, and everything crashing every which way in the back sea when you turn make it even more fun.

I just learned something... Early 3RZs have MFI not SFI... There's so much more to be gained with an aftermarket ECU. My truck batch fires the injectors, this has to be why j have weird ping behavior under even little boost. This would mean it only has two injector drivers too, so my fueling control and firing time is coarse at best.

You really can’t kill these damn things. Reminds me of the Hilux Top Gear tried to destroy by drowning it in the English Channel.

For a second I thought you were plumbing a turbo manifold in.

Soon, need to go standalone ECU and learn to tune better. I can do that with my SC so things are more predictable. I've only ever made a fuel map on Nistune which isn't all that similar to the Haltech I'd like to use.

Is that pipe pre-bent? How are you working with that?

I bought a section of mandrel bent 3" stainless pipe. It's a 45° bend. I want to use a stock airbox but don't want the huge heatsink resonator boxes.

I plain old forgot where / how this vacuum port hooks up to anything. Anyone know where and how this port gets hooked up to anything? The one I'm talking about is the one with the hose that has the masking tape on it - I had stuff marked out, but a year has gone by since I took it apart and I completely forgot. Thanks!

    IMG_9744.jpg

May or may not hook up to this somehow? This is also in my "extra" parts that I am not sure how to re-install lol

    IMG_9747.jpg

FWIW I got rid of the add 4x4 stuff and replaced it with manual hubs
