Parked the taco to tear it down again. I’ll be removing the windshield, dropping the dash harnesses and welding in the cage.

I got a deal at Napa for$650 but it's a build on order part. I requested it this past Tuesday and expecting it this coming Tuesday. I also have to pay shipping. Its the whole rear shaft both mid and tail with new carrier bearing and ujoints with limited life time warranty.

And go for the LT lol I'm waiting for the last bit of funds for the kit. but seeing the coilovers made me feel like it's worth it lol. I can't wait :)

Doesn’t need too but it will clean it up a bit. He ran 6013 so it burns hot even with a buzz box. So if he grinded it down the beefy parts it would look better and he would still have strong enough welds.

That’s why I started with doesn’t need to.... if you’re fine with it then cool I don’t judge. :D
My first air tight welds I did here at work looked like shit but they didn’t leak once the hot oil hit the lines. If the weld does it’s job that is what matters for me.

You might be ok with 255/85s. They're only 10 inches wide. Thats my next tire.

Agreed if it holds why bother with grinding. Function over looks

As for me, I'd probably clean with a grinder but I'm neither a welder or a grinder. Just a perfectionist computer geek with hobbies.

Only if you were worried about looks. Otherwise no need.

Because they wouldn't get the 260% markup. You can get a 4' piece of 1x1 black anno 10-series tapped at both ends for $13.50 from Tnutz. Prinsu charges $36. With shipping you'll pay $49.50; Tnutz is $46.50. If you want four? Prinsu is $199, Tnutz is $87.
