The Kevlar winch ropes are Superior to metal winch cables and much lighter.

It's Friday? I lost track of days, I work 7 days a week, everyday is all the same to me. Well except for the days I go to store that's only open on weekdays & wonder why they are closed or check the mail box & wonder why I don't have any packages.

Oh yeah, I'm aware of those, my buddy's got one. I misread his post, I thought he said his buddy had a winch with just a plain ol rope on it.

I think maybe it is time I should go to sleep.

Had a similar issue, ended up getting in aligned just to be safe, Goodyear was having a special anyway. When the dealer replaced my Corolla’s CV axles (covered by Toyota), the service rep said an alignment is always recommended when replacing them.

Stupid question, are you sure its not weeping from the water pump and just trailing down to the hose?

At first I thought that might be what was going on, but I checked and nope, it's only leaking where the hose meets the fitting.
