    How much do those weigh?

Seems like that spot could be prone fatigue if they are at all hefty. It is sheet metal after all.

Yeah its thin there but seems pretty solid, I doubt it would bend it if you used washers and spread the load out a bit. It is a concern of mine though and thats why I kinda liked the idea of the flush mounted ones.

I've spent a lot of time rebuilding these trucks. I don't think I would be comfortable bolting these to that sheet metal.

If you did little wheeling, then it would most likely be fine.

Allpro skids, Rigid duallys President McKinley CB with PA Recaro SRD with Wedge Engineering Morimoto retrofits Champion Rad - Failed Tundra brakes
Installed Tundra Brakes and SS lines:
Tundra Brake from Amazon via Callahan (drilled and slotted rotors, red painted calipers, some sort of pads)
LCE SS lines with 3" extension

The major P.I.T.A was the connection between the hardline (at the frame) and the softline -> super cramped area to get tab out and then disconnect the hardline 10MM.
The 10MM wrench was NOT a crow's foot type of flange wrench so wrench/nut contact points were not good. Correct tool(s) are important.

Thinking about all the small things I want/should/need to buy for my truck that would make it nicer/convenient/more reliable is just depressing lol. I could drop $500 right now on items that are less than $40 and still find more small things to replace. I need a washer fluid reservoir, light bulbs, riv-nuts for my tool box, aux fuse block, etc. etc. I just need slowly acquire them and start adding them to the truck as they come in. I have no problem dropping big money on larger parts but sit here and contemplate about buying a $30 reservoir

Yup! Dropped $500 on the bumper but waited 6 months to take it to powder coat because I didn't want to pay the money for it :anonymous:

I have had an O2 sensor in my tool box since December that I have been moving around from drawer to drawer because I don't want to mess with replacing it and the stud snap or something annoying

Oregon-to-Canada on the WABDR (June 2018) - Day 1: Joe and Daisy's First Big Dirt Adventure
    June 24, 2018.

It's not often that we end up on a trip in our own backyard. There are many reasons for that - there are amazing sights far and wide, adventurous friends are located states away, and of course the weather in Washington makes snow-free exploration tough much of the year.

But when Joe got a 4Runner and mentioned that he and his wife (Daisy) wanted us to get them (and their 16-month old) out on their first trip, it seemed like a great opportunity to do something a bit easier and a bit more local.

The WABDR (Washington Backcountry Discovery Route) fit that bill perfectly!

Read the story with tons of photos:

So I have this whirring noise coming from my engine bay when I am coasting at speeds 25 MPH plus. Does not make the sound when I am at a stop. Is it a timing belt pulley ? Fan Pulley?

Went in to my local rear end shop to ask if I needed to purchase anything else besides the R&P & yoke. Turns out they are a Yukon dealer & their price was cheaper than what I could find online. Gears ordered direct from Yukon & will be in tomorrow, dropping my truck off at 8am tomorrow to get it installed. :taco:

Bhahaha sorry @nagorb - It’s been a long few days. It looks like @Sperrunner meeds it more than I do, so I’ll let him take this one. Thanks man!
