These are All Pro Expos. First time was my new OME Dakars, second time was taking those out a few weeks later to add an AAL to them. After a few months of dealing with all kinds of noises and popping coming from them and sagging under weight, I've decided to ditch the Dakars for these.

I got these for $350 so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to see if they work better, if they do I'll sell the Dakars and hopefully break even.

I dunno if it would have kept me under budget, after selling the Dakars I'll only have spent maybe $500. But it certainly would have been way less of a headache to go custom from the beginning.

Yeah I started with All pro standards. Warrantied them for expos and now have Alcan customs on the way. Alcans were just over 800 out the door

They didn’t hold enough weight for me personally. Also if I were you, I’d put a 1/2” block under the driver side pack so you don’t gave taco lean. I hated that.

damn, how much weight do you carry? I thought the Expos were rated for a lot...400lbs daily from what I read on their website or else they ride stiff. I'll keep an eye out for any lean, thanks for the heads up

So I have a high top camper shell and a bed platform, day to Day.that eats up probably half or more of that 400. Then with camping gear and shit I had a saggy ass. So my alcans are 3.5” lift with my truck weight as it sits +600lbs

Nice, yeah that sounds like you're a good candidate for a custom pack. I'm only carrying maybe 250, 300lbs tops daily with the RTT, rack and spare tire so if anything I might be riding a little stiff. I push upwards of 800lbs in the bed total when fully loaded for multi day camping/wheeling but honestly that's only a few times a year...my weekend trips are probably right at the 400lb mark.

You should be fine. Don’t forget the 1/2” block on the driver side! Lol I’m telling you the lean was the last straw for me.

    Why’d you warranty them?

I’d image he did that cause they broke or wore out in some way pretty fast.

    Probably bent or something

I’m sure they’re fine but I’m curious as to why AllPro warrantied them.
