Can someone please tell me which side is the washer and which is the sleeve? Left or right?

Im trying to reuse the washer and sleeve with the ES lower ctrl arm bushings and im really lost. Considering just driving to Autozone and get some MOOG. help please!!!!

I didn’t think you were supposed to remove the sleeve when using ES. I know I didn’t. I can check which side when I get home

What's the part number on your ecu? And how is it acting up right now. I could fix this if you wanted to send it.

 

So this isn't too bad to fix, probably 5 mins worth of work for someone who has an ESD SAFE soldering station. Just have to have the new resistor and other corroded or damaged parts (looks like there might be a few). I would also suggest you probe the rest of that circuit on the truck that the resistor outputs to first. Increasing resistance from your dunk could have taken that resistor out if whatever it hooks to is corroded or shorting.

 

Just finished the main structure of the rear bumper. Turned out like this. Needs some tube and it’ll be good.

I hate when people don't know how to ship shit. And this came from a Toyota dealer too. Damn idiots. Box isn't even big enough to fit the caps, they just shoved them in there with no protection at all & just taped the box closed. 3 of the 4 caps have dents on the edges & face.

I had an Army buddy in Germany that took parts home in a metal foot locker each time he took leave.

 

It’s much more lax to take stuff back if you’re in the military. My uncle was stationed in Manila back in the 80’s and he took home two solid Nara wood doors that weighed something like 300 pounds each, and were both easily something like 4x6 feet each.

They’re sitting in my garage to this day. We couldn’t use them in our old house because they were so heavy, apparently building code called for custom steel door frames.

 

Do you remember how you disassembled the old bushings? The ES suspension instructions say reuse the washer and sleeve. I was able to remove 1 washer last night by grinding away the crimp at the end of the sleeve. PITA! Even worse is now i have to torch out all the old rubber and clean up the metal. I really regret not doing a bit more research. I would have gone with OEM or Whiteline.

 

Now that I look at it, it looks like when R824 shorted, it Kamikazie'd R823 and R825. I'd replace all three of them to be safe. Make sure it's the correct resistance or you're going to have a bad time. I'd cross-check the FSM for R823, R824, and R825

Make sure you use the right what appears to be special ceramic resistors too. Don't just grab those everyday resistor packs off the shelf off your local electronics store, get the part # or manufacturer off those Resistors and order from them.

I would check for any swollen capacitors too (I think the one pictured is J800). They're electrolytic and don't like moisture. It also appears that the solid state capacitors C451 and C452 have failed by the looks of the discoloring on them. IIRC it should all be the same color.

 

Do you have a FSM that will show R823, R824 and R825? If so give it up. I want it.
