I wish I did. I just read the values off the PCB in his picture, lol.

I'll check my Electrical FSM when I get home.

It's really not that difficult to do. Like @Speedytech7 mentioned, any mechanically inclined person can do this service. I learned to solder by taking apart and re-assembling a digital alarm clock when I was about 12. If you don't take up his offer to repair, I can do it for you. I used to do BGA/SMD and reflow soldering work on MacBook Pro's and graphics cards.

That being said, the ECU is a vital part of your truck and after sustaining this kind of damage I'd just replace it outright.

Did it myself for the first time! Took far longer than it should have but buying the axle nut socket made easy work of that part and now I have two shiny well re-manufactured CV axles from https://www.cvjreman.com/

Need to send in the cores and get back the $180 tomorrow.

Got my retro head lights up and running again. Had to replace the power cables and the relay.

Stopped the “back to stock” process to get some good ole fashioned maintenance done.

(Ignore the atrociously rusted strut and steering components. That’s a nightmare for another day....)

Centric painted rotors and centric pads. They send you everything you need to reassemble the pads and the pads are preshimmed. It’s pretty nice.

I agree, I worked in electronic repair for years, component level repair as well. If your not experienced with PCB work and/or not good at soldering don't mess with it, although you probably don't have anything to loose beside time & money for the components. At least it's not SMD components. These days everything is required to use lead free solder which is one of the reasons why BGA chips fail so much (that & poor tthermal management design). Lead free solder is trickier to work worth. You can easy damage traces if you don't know what you are doing, even with lead soldered stuff.

Don't need a ESD safe soldering station. Yeah it would be best but in all the years I've worked on electronics i've never damaged something from ESD. Just don't be stupid, like sitting on shag carpet while attempting the repair.

You can replace what's visually compromised but there could be plenty of other compinents that have failed. Without extensive circuit diagnosing you may just be wasting your time. I've never looked inside a Toyota ecu but many ecus have conformal coating on the PCB to protect from moisture. Have tonremove that coating before you can do any soldering.

If it were me, I'd just get a used replacememt ECU.
