It is white but not really flakey.

All of them have a good bit of carbon.

#2 was loose around January, guess they didnt get tightened that much. Fixed it when I noticed it

Put in new ngks, maybe the end of the year I'll have a mild turbo setup on it

I would think so, just look for any burn spots or anything out of the ordinary.

That is a very very very old picture of the truck when it was still 99% stock. I had the original wheels, original fender flares, stock crank windows and manual everything, original Toyota grille and headlights, original California plates, no nerf bars, and most importantly, it’s still a 2WD PreRunner.

It took me and two other people the better part of an hour to put that freakin’ door back on. I never realized how hard it is to align properly and hold it there.

Here’s the door sitting inside my house.

Are you still overseas? I have a Hilux question and was hoping you might come across our truck’s overseas twin.

Got the dash cut and back in for testing the location of the A pillar part of the cage. Everything fits pretty good. Not perfect but really close.

I am still in Manila, yes. I get back on the 1st. I actually stopped by a Toyota dealership around here when the chauffeur needed a new key battery for his Fortuner.

I’m dropping by a auto scrapping district on Monday. Hoping I can find a 3RZ Supercharger or something equally as cool. Wonder if the TSA would get mad if I tried to carry on a 1KZ-TE.

I am curious as to the import rules for auto parts if you’re not shipping them. That would be unfortunate if I did find a 3RZ supercharger, and US customs confiscated it.

What module is that? You sure can - it’s through hole so it should be relatively simple. Once you get into SMD/BGA soldering on more modern devices is when you run into issues.
