    I know this is old but I would like to know what size mainly or brand of CB radio you have set up where your ashtray used to go in your first gen! I have the very same dash and would like to do a very similar set up

    I'm just fuckin with ya. but yea, I need to replace a spindle, new inner and outer TR's, new bushings on the rack as well. a days worth of work....uggghhh. waiting till wheeling season is over.....hopefully it lasts...lol

    Wheeling season is over..? Its over from roughly late June to the end of September for me, aka the hotter than hell months out here. I can't stand wheeling in the heat.

    Yeah none of that is hard, but can be time consuming if something goes wrong. End of the wheeling season Repair/MOD day!

    Well...i wheel all year long. But less in the winter. Right now we camp alot so i rather not deal with it.

    You did a great job there man! Very nice write up! Now I have questions, I’ve just done a long block rebuild on my 5VZ-FE of my ‘96 Taco everything else runs great except for a check engine light that’s always comes on after I cleared it in the obd 2 scanner for like 100 times. My engine block was rebored, the heads also got delt with, new oil seals, gaskets, o rings and everything. My knock sensor harness was new, but the knock sensor itself I didn’t change. I still reuse the old ones I thought they were still in decent shape I see no damage or uneven pattern on the bolt on thread. So I’ve decided just to use them again. I don’t know if that’s the reason my check engine light won’t come off after clearing the scanner about 100 times. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
