    Pro Tip: Go to Home Depot and buy a black ABS Toilet Flange and use it as a seal driver for the rear main seal. Worked wonders when I did my rear main seal.

    You also need one of those shaft-type seal removers. A normal seal remover or prybar will mar the mating surface.

    Lol mine just dangles below my truck by an inch or two. I imagine it will get ripped off sooner or later.

    First post on the forums. But have been trolling through endless threads. Finally got around to completing some stuff on my 2000 2.7L Extended Cab Pre-Runner.

    Added Pro Comp Series 51 steel wheels (15x8 6 lug) with 4.5" backspacing (PCW 51-5884)
    Falken Wildpeak A/T3W tires (31x10.5/R15)
    Bora 1" wheel spacers on the front to clear the front calipers for the Pro Comp Series 51.
    Bilstein 4600s on all 4 corners
    Moog 81082 front coil springs

    Truck runs great. After installing the Bora 1" spacers, I get a very slight rub inside my wheel well ONLY on full lock out. Truck is on stock height. Might add a small lift or Bilstein 5100s later down the road. And will probably add 1" spacers to the rear to even out the stance.

    Positive its stock height. Have had the truck in the family since we drove off the lot brand new in June 2000

    Haha. I'm not the type to post a lot but I also was away for like 6 yrs. The black hole I got sucked into was another hobby that cost me much more money than the mods for my truck.

    With no flares it looks higher, well more gap in the wheel well anyway.

    To be serious, it could just be the angle of the pics. First pic rear looks higher. Second pic front looks higher. Also showing right side.of the truck, taco lean might possibly be a factor.

    But I don't know, if it was stock height I think it should have a bit more rake. Maybe those Moog front springs are adding a tiny bit of height?

    Front looks about the same to me. Or were you talking about your rear? Tool box heavy & full?

    Negative arch? I don't really remember what my stock leafs looked like, I think they were pretty much flat, not negative but they came off the truck at like 45K mi.

    Could be the tire and wheel combo that make it look not as high as mine. Are you running 17s or 16s? Just a thought, not sure if its a valid reason...

    This how we end up dropping more money on the trucks. always looking for a little improvement. But nothing wrong with that!

    How do you like those fog lights? Do they come on with the headlights?

    I have spots for fog lights on my Predator bumper. Debating on if I should hook them up as running lights, or hook them up to their own independent switch.

    The light output from my retrofits aren’t great. I get excellent long range light throw, but mediocre short range light throw.

    Getting ready for this lift. I invested in greasable Daystar main eye bushings, as well as greasable OME shackles for my AllPro springs.

    I’m not looking forward to pressing out the upper ball joints in the steering knuckles again. If you were following my 4WD swap back in a December/January, you’ll know why it was such a pain in the ass.

    Please ignore the bed, it’s in the process being replaced on my 5-lug with a clean bed-lined one. Have to drill out the spotwelds on the passenger bedside and I’ll be done.

    Once I get this lift on, I can finally get an alignment. The truck has been wandering since I finished the 4WD swap. Perhaps from the small manufacturing differences in steering knuckles.

    They are driving lights. Fogs are usually yellow. To be honest, I only installed them because my home made bumper didn't look right with out something in that spot.

    They do work good, though, but I don't use them too often. I have a switch that activates a relay so I can run them independent of the headlights.
