So after 12 years of ripping my mud flaps off on the trail while wheeling, getting out, retrieving them and throwing them into my bed...

...I finally took them off in preparation of wheeling (I'll put them back on when I get back)

    I have to say

    1. I'm pretty impressed with my ingenuity no matter how long it took me to figure something so simple out

    2. The truck does look sweet without the flaps. But I'm a stickler for keeping them on for the sake of others behind me.

You, sir, are single-handedly accelerating the evolution of mankind in an astronomically inverse vector.

How is that TB cleaning coming?

If I keep this up mankind is going to be able to travel at the speed of light soon thus distorting the space-time continuum...

...which will probably end up with us regressing back into cavemen picking lice out of each others' back hair.

On second thought, I better stick to my typical idiocy.

Gonna do it Sunday. Finally got the spark plug wires so I can do everything while it's all torn apart. After putting it all back together I need to give this engine a serious detail. There is so much grime and dirt built up around the valve cover and everything else. So I figured I'd wait until after I wheel it tomorrow and Saturday.

I've read so many write ups 20 times over.

I feel like I'm preparing for the LSATs or something.

So far on paper and in theory it seems like even I can do this. Of course once the wrenches start flying I'll probably fuck something up.

Let us know how much vibration you get from the solid motor mounts. I put that mount on my tranny, but haven't done the engine ones yet, because I've heard the vibes can get bad.

I just have no use for a little truck.. Evidently im not allowed to load the 4wheeler in the bed and I have a "girl truck".. And i'd be scared to pull my boat or camper with it so I would feel better with something bigger. Plus a 4x4 and Diesel would be nice too.

    ...too much shit to list.
What the hell does that have to do with anything?

    Umm...thank you?
Perhaps you missed the part where I said motor mounts are next. :notsure:

The motor mounts are sitting on my toolbox and the truck is in the garage. By "next" I mean as in tomorrow or saturday.

Yeah I don't really care about vibrations. I care about my engine not dropping on top of my differential when the mounts fail and I"m doing triple digits in the desert.
