After resently cracking my shock buckets I would never remove any material away from them to avoid risk of weakening them. That bent lip is there to help strengthen then probably not much but it does serve a purpose.

Aside from your shock bushings looking funny, not sure if it's just deceiption of the pic but this part don't look right either. Looks bent.

Installed new speakers today, Infinity Kappas all the way around. I really didn't want to upgrade my speakers cause I know what it will lead too but my rear speakers were blown. What the new speakers led to is that now I want a subwoofer! Sadly got no room though.

That's what color mine is too, I don't see it being red at all. It's amber/orange.

Zack It sounds like sediment. In the line or tank. Fuel pump works great out of the tank, trucks starts till the injector or pump gets plugged. Then the crap falls out after the pressure pull stops and opens the lines again.

Vapor lock also does the same thing, fought it on a new car pulled the gas cap off, and it ran fine. They went and spent 10 bucks on a new cap after 2 weeks at the mechanic.

Red has a longer wave length and is much easier on your eyes at night than blue. It will also retain you night vision much better than blue will.

This is also why most vehicles come with 3300k or 4300k headlights as it doesn't wear your eyes out as much at say 5000k.

Does anyone have a Double Cab with a 1995-1997 4x4 Front End?

This is something I never though I've wanted.

    never seen it.

    Why?

Because you'd have to swap front fends, hood, and the grill with the head lights. To make things work right with the head lights alone its best to swap the whole core support.

    THEN

you have paint problems because none of the colors from 95-97 are the same as 01-04. So you'd have to repaint the front end to make it match the truck.

    Thus.

Very expensive..for just looks. So not a popular thing to do.

Few on here have thought of it...myself included as I think the 95-97 is the best front end of all the gens.

I know it's a pain to swap the front end to the 95-97 design, which is why I'm curious if anyone was crazy enough to do it on a Double Cab.

I've seen plenty on Standard and Extended Cabs. But never a Double Cab.

yeah. Big chunk of money for that. I've never seen it done as a majority of folks already like the 01-04 front end best anyways.
