No kidding... I bought my used ones for more than that. But, that did include basically brand new rear Icon shocks.

Something's not right, rattle cans should dry perfectly fine. On Mon I painted my shock bucket gussets with Rustoleum & it dried to touch in 30 mins. Repainted my leaf springs a few weeks ago with rattle cans & a semu humid day & it still dried to touch within an hour. A week before that I painted my bed tied down hooks with Duplicolor at night, dry the next morning.

Maybe you got defective cans or spraying it on way too thick? I figure the Bay area might be a bit more humid than down here but it can't be that much of a difference. If you have a heat gun use that.

I believe it was an issue with off-gassing of the not-fully cured base coat. The can of my wheel paint says it needs "1-2 weeks before clear coat"

I have a commercial Auto/Body Infrared paint curing lamp I use for my Cadillac horns. I re-finished that welder way before I bought it.

Installed 130amp caddy alternator. Hidden 32" light bar behind front bumper fascia, Gentex rearview mirror with compass and temperature, auto dimming and homelink buttons to open garage doors in bottom edge of mirror. Red LED accent lights in door pockets, red LED dash lights. Pioneer headunit with PYLE speakers, 4 caddy train horn setup, big 3 battery cable upgrade. A shitload of preventive maintenance.
4 or 5 more projects that I have parts for just need time to complete.

Did you send it off to LCE yet?

I always found it funny that a Camry, out of all vehicles, would have a forged crank.

Donahoe seemed to be great with warranty , at least for me. Not sure about Icon, never needed to call them. IIRC Donahoes cost me $950 back in 2005 purchased from Wheelers.

They originally had studs for the top hat & was all one piece instead of how Icons are now with the slit in them. Years after I broke a stud, called DR & to get a replacement & they sent me a new updated set of top hats that used bolts instead of studs free of charge.

In the photo showing when I machined the shock bucket top plates you can see one of the old design hats that I used to measure the PCD & test fitment.

That's what the gate people call me at my local Pick-n-Pull!

Those poor suckers have to mark every single horn. I hold up the exit for like five minutes haha.
