Pro Tip: Magic Erasers are just Melamine Foam, buy the aforementioned in generic form for 1/4th of the price.

I was pretty upset when I programmed my Scangauge to report transmission temperature, and it told me it was -39.9 Degrees Fahrenheit. Apparenly, 1995-2000 Tacomas do not report transmission temperature.

Interesting I didn't know that. I do know that they used that material in Japan for cleaning long before it hit the US. My buddy gave me some years before it came out here. When I'm with him we always laugh about it when we see the stuff in stores.

Yep that's the reason why I painted mine with SEM trim black. The mirrors don't fade fast. Will last years until I have to use the eraser on them again.

Yeah, I have HIDs that's why I was wondering why it wasn't a flat beam across both lights.

Looking at doing a drain and fill and adding a cooler at the same time. Most likely this cooler https://www.amazon.com/Long-Tru-Coo...&qid=1539881506&sr=8-1&keywords=tru+cool+4454.

Any idea on how much fluid I need? 3.4l V6 automatic. I believe that is the A340F. I was thinking around 5qt. But would like to make sure.

I ended up using almost 12 Quarts, or about 3 Gallons to fill my drained A340F after I did my 4x4 conversion.

Is there a part # for the little plastic molding around these dials?

Otherwise the knobs don't stay on :(

Those are part of the knobs themselves, unfortunately. You'd have to buy all new knobs.

You can try wrapping them in electrical tape.

Actually there is a small metal sleeve deal that is inside the knobs. If that falls out you're screwed. Happend to one of mine.
