1/4" butyl rubber rope. Same thing the factory used.

 

Can I ask where you purchased that rubber rope?

 

RV dealerships have some of the best prices for butil tape. That stuff is used all over campers.

How can you align my truck if I leave it in California and take the 5-Lug?

 

Genius, why didn't I think of that. I used 7mil plastic sheet from Home Depot.

 

I realized that was an idiotic idea.

If I was taking the 5-Lug to you, I'd drive it there and fly back.

 

The first gen will be leaving soon. It's hard to believe it's been two years. I think i've made up my mind on what the next Tacoma will be

 

I looked at that but the rolls are huge and there would have been way too much left over. Then I had an epiphany about the shower curtain.

 

Wow just ordered a cbi rear swing out bumper Thursday night when the sale went live and it shipped out already! Supposed to get it on Monday.

Wonder if they have shower curtains like that at the dollar store!? Lol..

 

Good luck and if it’s a new one make sure you get a warranty for as many years as possible because you will need it for the electrical nightmares that will pop up down the line.
