    If I only had the SR5, What a dream. I guess that manual is responsible for the good mpgs.
    I get 20 with my automajic transmission and dinky 28 inch tires(225/75-15).

    Ya to get the bottom clip off you have to take a brass drift and tap the tulip down (over the bottom clip) then take the top clip off first.

    Then use the brass drift and hammer again hitting the tulip uo the remove it completely, and then u can take the bottom clip off. Kind of a pain the first go round but you get the hang of it after a while.

    At least it's all good now :)

    You have a manual, I have an auto with stock tires. I think it makes a big difference in mpgs.

    I got 3 gears and overdrive.

    The SR5 comes with many goodies I do not have.
    Stock tires on regular 4WDTacos are 225/75-R15, which is around 28.29 inches. The optional tire size, which is standard on the SR5 is a 31.

    You have a manual, auto locking hubs, chrome mirrors, aluminum wheels, locking rear diff. and 31 tires from factory.
    I have an automatic, manual hubs, regular mirrors, steel wheels, and no locker from factory.

    interesting. never knew they came with different tire sizes.
    I dont have a locker, thats only for the TRD
    And no ghey chrome mirrors either :D
